Walk, Talk and Focus Sessions

Focus Employment Hub Limited are now offering free walk, talk and focus sessions to people of all ages with long term health conditions or disabilities. This is an opportunity for you to improve your health and look at your personal and professional goals in an informal setting.

Four walks will be on offer of around an hour in length, go at your own pace. Benefits include talking to others in a non-judgemental way, improving your emotional and physical health, connecting with nature. The walks will be based in St Helens, but individuals are welcome from across Merseyside.

On-going support will be offered and next steps to where you want your journey to go?

On-going support may be:

• Emotional and practical support
• Looking for and finding work
• Providing a listening ear in a confidential and non-threatening environment
• Help with college and job applications, along with volunteering
• Support as a disabled person through further and higher education
• CV writing
• Signposting to other services
• Counselling, advocacy and life-coaching
• Support with benefits
• Housing
• Employment Consultancy
• Equality and Diversity Training

Initial interview and consultation to tailor the walk around the individuals needs and look at your personal and professional goals.
