    Loneliness can have a terrible impact on a person's physical and mental health.

    Research indicates that Loneliness affects millions of individuals in the UK annually and is a major contributor to poor mental health. The COVID-19 pandemic exacerbated feelings of loneliness, with isolation and reduced opportunities for social connection leading to increased distress during these unprecedented times.

  • Halton Health Improvement Team Training and Workshops

    Halton Health Improvement Team have a new programme of health related training for January to March 2024 for Halton organisations.

    Our training programme is designed to create a network of local Health Champions, whose role is to promote healthy lifestyles and inspire others to take a more active role in their health. They are sources of information on all aspects of health and wellbeing, can signpost to services and offer support to make positive behavioural changes
