    The VS6 Partnership are pleased to announce the upcoming VCFSE Liverpool City Region Metro Mayor Hustings 2024, an event that offers a unique opportunity for the Voluntary, Community, Faith and Social Enterprise (VCFSE) sector to engage with the Metro Mayor candidates and gain insights into their perspectives on important VCFSE matters.

  • Bus Reform – Have Your Say About St Helens Public Transport

    In October the Metro Mayor announced the LCRCA would be taking back control of bus services across our area. They are now about to start the engagement on franchising the bus network across our region. St Helens will be the first area for this with the rest of Liverpool City Region to follow and become part of the scheme at the same time; however, bus service contracts and engagement will be rolled out across the region from 2025-2026.

  • Moving Buses Forward – Make Your Voice Heard On The Future Of Our Region’s Bus Services

    Buses are the backbone of our local transport network – half a million people across the Liverpool City Region, which includes Halton and St Helens, use the bus every day to travel to work, to school, to the doctors, to visit friends and family, or to have a day out.

    The Liverpool City Region Combined Authority, which covers the six local authority areas of the city region, including Halton and St Helens, has new powers to improve bus services by taking greater public control of the network.
