  • Halton VCSE Response Meeting - 22nd May 2024

    The next Halton VCSE Response meeting will be on Wednesday 15th March 2024 at 9.30am. The meeting will be held at Halton & St Helens VCA, St Maries, Lugsdale Road, Widnes, WA8 6DB.   We will hear from some new friends, have plenty of time to engage and update one another on projects and  activities, as well as touching base with the local Council and NHS organisations.   • Halton Mental Health Alliance & Marketplace

    The marketplace aspect of the event will provide a platform for you as organisations to showcase your services and initiatives.      At the event we will be focusing on: 

    The ambitions of the alliance and its influence strategically Our Mental Health Care Navigator Programme Transformation Funding available to members of the alliance and the links with our Merseycare Mental Health Care Navigator Programme.

     Future meetings of the alliance aims to create a collaborative environment where participants can share insights, exchange ideas, and work together to drive positive change in mental health care delivery. By bringing together a diverse range of stakeholders, the event seeks to foster innovation, build partnerships, and ultimately improve outcomes for individuals affected by mental health issues.

    In the future the Alliance addition to the marketplace, the network meeting will facilitate discussions among mental health professionals, advocates, policymakers, and stakeholders. Topics of discussion may include current challenges facing the mental health sector, emerging trends and research findings, strategies for improving access to care, and advocacy efforts aimed at reducing stigma and discrimination.
