Parish Council - Eccleston

The parish council receives a Precept from the residents of Eccleston to represent thier interests in the community. This precept covers the running costs of Eccleston Village Hall and the Smith heritage Centre Museum and 70% running costs of Ecclesfield Changing Facility. The parish council employs 5 part time members of staff. The parish council owns a village hall at Kiln Lane, Eccleston, WA10 4RA which is hired out for use by small groups for meetings, parties or activities. The caretaker, Lisa Poole, can be contacted on 01744 638 554 for bookings. We also own and run a museum, Smith Heritage Centre - which is attached to the Village Hall. The 2 part time curators organise visits from local schools for historical activities during the day and talks to insterested groups both in the museum and to outside bodies.
