ADMINISTRATION ASSISTANT
Site Location of this Post will be Youth Federation, Ellesmere Port

Salary: £16,445 - £17,615 p.a. (Pro Rata) – MYA Grade 2 Pt. 5-8 

Hours: 17.5 Hours Per Week

Fixed Term Funded to 31st December 2021

Merseyside Youth Association Ltd is looking to recruit an experienced and highly effective Administration Assistant to support the Area Manager and ensure contract requirements are met.  The successful applicant will be required to collate the input information using CRM and Data Base Systems to meet deadlines on a monthly basis, and support the claims process in line with ESF/YEI contract requirements and MYA’s Policies and Procedures.

Candidates must hold a recognised CLAIT/ECDL qualification or above in a relevant field and have experience of Software Packages ie.e Word, Excel Database etc.

APPRENTICE MENTOR 

Salary: Minimum Wage Applies 

Hours: 30 Per Week
(On a Flexible Basis May Include Some Evenings and Weekends)

Funded – 1 Year Initially with the Potential for a Further Year

Merseyside Youth Association Ltd is looking to recruit an Apprentice Mentor.  This is an exciting role where you will learn how to provide intensive mentoring to young people, including how to support the delivery of effective personalised pathways to employment.

No previous experience of working within this area of work is necessary as full training and support is provided.  This is an Apprenticeship job opportunity, so you will also be working towards an Apprenticeship Level 2 Qualification in Youth Work.  Applicants must hold GCSE’s in English and Maths grade C or above or hold Functional Skills Level 2.  You will need to be motivated, want to learn and work as part of a team.

EMPLOYMENT SUPPORT MENTOR

Salary: £22,558 p.a. – £25,729 p.a. - MYA Scale 5 – Pt. 17-20

Hours: 35 
(May Include Some Evening and Weekend Work)

Fixed Term Funded to 31st December 2021

The successful candidate will be required to support and assist the pipeline of employment, education and training routes within Talent match Plus.  The postholder will deliver effective personalised pathway to employment for people who are not in education, training or work.

The successful candidate will hold a recognised qualification to at least NVQ Level 3 in a relevant subject.  They will also have substantive experience of 1-1 mentoring, as well as group work delivery, caseload management, supporting people into meaningful progressions, together with post employment support.  The successful candidate will have an excellent track record in ensuring individual and project targets are met.

Hours: 35

Fixed Term Funded to 31st December 2021

The successful candidate will be required to deliver effective personalised pathway to employment for young people aged 15-29 years who have not been in education, training or work and have complex needs across the Liverpool City Region.

The successful candidate will hold a recognised qualification to least an NVQ level 3 in a subject relating to Young People.  They will also have substantive experience of 1-1 mentoring, as well as group work delivery, caseload management, supporting young people into meaningful progressions, together with post employment support.  The successful candidate will have an excellent track record in ensuring individual and project targets are met.
