Volunteers Development Officer / Staying Home Vol Coordinator

After spending 22 years working in Adult and Community Education, Christine joined St Helens CVS in 2002. During this time she has held various positions, including a role within The Community Empowerment Network and two separate occasions within the Volunteer Centre St Helens; firstly setting up and running the ‘Precious Time’ time-bank which also included being the North West Regional Mentor for Time Banks UK. Secondly, in 2006 she took on responsibility for the Supported Volunteer Project. In 2010 as she took on a new role as Investing in Volunteers Development Manager, a role with a Merseyside remit.

Christine's current role is Volunteer Coordinator for the Staying Home project but she is also experienced in volunteer management, volunteer policies and good practice advice.
